Jokiranta

RIVERSIDE COTTAGE
Riverside cottage by design, Jokiranta extends as long and winding as a river. Windows are placed towards the river bend and the cottage has three separate entries for convenient access and use. Bay window offers extra views to the left and right. This cottage is for a person who is active but still enjoys old fashioned laziness every now and then.

HUNTER’S CABIN
Sometimes active and sometimes lazy, sounds like a hunter to me. Even though this cottage was originally designed for riverside properties there are no limitations on using it as a remote base for outdoors people for example hikers and hunters. We can make it smaller or bigger actually we can change it anyway you like.

WARM HEARTED
In the centre of the house we have placed a lime stone fire place or actually an oven. This kind of Finnish style stone oven will easily heat the cottage with only few hours of use. The stove will remain hot for a long time even after wood burning has stopped. This is a feature, which is much valued as everybody is trying to save energy.
