CLASSIC COTTAGE CUSTOMISATION
How classic can a classic cottage be? Finnish log cottage history can be traced back to one simple cottage model, which was and is so simple that one man could easily build it out of trees that he had felled from his own forest. Hellin is a modern version of that classic cottage.
PROTECTIVE ROOF
People build houses so that we can protect ourselves from the elements. Houses have roofs to protect them from elements and this cottage model has a plenty of roof to protect it. You can be sure that the quality of this cottage will last for a lifetime.
Roof also extends far over the veranda and creates a natural extension for the great room. This is a perfect spot for cosy chatting over a cup of coffee or for a good book and box of chocolates. Veranda also has access to both sides of the house so it fits easily to most of the lots.
BREATH TAKING HEIGHT
This is one tall cottage. In the middle of the loft the ceiling is barely reachable by hand and gable windows together with cathedral ceiling and open areas flood the space with light.
YOUR PRIVATE SPA…
The standard model emphasises washing areas making this cottage your private spa. Some people don’t share Finns’ love for sauna and might prefer hot tub or a swimming pool. Don’t be afraid to ask about all the possibilities that we can do with our cottages.
…OR A HOTEL
Toilet, bathroom, wet room and sauna together can be more than you require, but don’t worry about it. All these spaces can be turned into something else for example extra bedrooms. You could easily open your own hotel or at least provide separate rooms for your visitors.
